Woman creates ruckus, assaults cop in inebriated condition in Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: A 22-year-old woman created a ruckus on the Beach Road in Visakhapatnam late on Wednesday allegedly under the influence of liquor and ganja.
She abused the locals and even attacked the police. She attacked a young man with a beer bottle and injured him.
The young woman created a ruckus for almost 25 minutes. Later, the police caught hold of her and conducted a breath analyzer test on her.
According to police, they received a complaint through a phone call saying that a young lady was consuming alcohol in the open near YMCA.
The police reached the spot and asked her to go home, but the woman abused not only the police but also the people who were gathered at the spot.
The police registered a case under sections 353, 427, 184, and 185 of IPC against the woman and presented her before the court.
