THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In view of the high court order that scrapped certain provisions in the notification issued by the state government for conducting mop-up allotment of seats to MBBS/BDS courses, the commissioner for entrance examinations has revised the mop-up guidelines published on December 7.
As per the new guidelines, candidates who obtained MBBS/BDS seats in all-India counselling till the second allotment would be excluded from the online mop-up allotment. Similarly, those who got MBBS/BDS seats in state counselling up to the second round would not be considered for the online mop-up allotment.
Also, those candidates who have already got admission to various colleges in MBBS/BDS seats through all-India mop-up counselling would not be eligible to participate in the state mop-up allotment.
