Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Wednesday at 10:24AM

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 4.74%), KRISHANA(up 3.09%), Sikko Industries(up 2.41%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.95%), Agro Phos(up 1.33%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.59%), Fertilizers (up 0.29%), & Fertilizers(up 0.27%), Aries Agro(up 0.09%) and & Petrochemicals(up 0.01%) were among the top gainers.

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 4.53%), Madras Fertlizers(down 4.15%), Bohra Industries(down 3.13%), National Fertilizer(down 2.83%), & Fertilizers(down 0.79%), Rama Phosphates(down 0.53%), & Fertilizers(down 0.48%), G S F C(down 0.40%), Coromandel International(down 0.17%) and & Chemicals(down 0.13%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 58.5 points up at 18666.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 177.1 points at 62710.4 at around 10:24AM.

NTPC(up 1.89%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.86%), Eicher Motors(up 1.81%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.57%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.42%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.35%), State Bank of India(up 1.03%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.03%), Wipro(up 0.98%) and Larsen & Toubro(up 0.96%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Nestle India(down 0.92%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.76%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.37%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.28%), Reliance Industries(down 0.2%), Asian Paints(down 0.11%), ICICI Bank(down 0.1%), Tata Motors(down 0.08%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.07%) and Britannia Industries(down 0.03%) were trading in the red.
