MANDYA: A police constable’s house in Mandya’s Srirangapatna taluk was burgled and valuables have been taken away by burglars, according to a police complaint.
Ravi, a resident of Hulikere village in Srirangapatna taluk of Mandya, has complained that gold has been missing from his house.
The crime happened on December 11 when Ravi, a constable at KRS police station, had gone to Mysuru with his wife. Thieves forcibly entered his house by breaking open the door and then took away 95 grams of gold jewellery, totally worth Rs 3.80 lakh.
When Ravi returned from Mysuru, he was shocked to see that the house had been burgled and valuables had been taken away. He has lodged a complaint at the KRS station. An investigation has been launched.
