One killed in accident in Barmer

JAISALMER: A man died in a collision between a tractor carrying cement and a trailer carrying tiles on Pachpadra - Balotra bypass in Barmer district on Monday evening.
Due to the impact of the collision, the trailer loaded with tiles overturned and caught fire. The tractor driver, identified as Hemaram Prajapati, a resident of Rabarion ka Tala in Balotra died as he got buried under the tiles. The highway was jammed and after many hours the fire could be controlled and police could control the traffic jam.
According to the information, a tractor carrying cement bags was going towards Mungda from Balotra while the trailer was going towards Gudamalani. Pachpadra SHO Rajendra and Balotra SHO Ugamraj Soni reached the spot with force and rescue teams. Rajendra said that after controlling the fire the body of the driver was found in the debris.
