These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, IOB(14.68%), YES Bank(13.78%), Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd.(13.39%), Seamec Ltd(13.09%), HUDCO(11.76%), Landmark Prop(11.45%), United Drilling(11.07%), 8K Miles Soft(11.0%), Bank of Maharashtra(10.49%) and Vardhman Special(10.39%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 402.73 points up at 62533.3, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 110.85 points up at 18608.0.
In the Nifty 50 index, 35 stocks ended in the green, while 15 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as , Ltd., , and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , Inds., , Future Consumer and Corp touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
