Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:29AM

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 4.46%), National Fertilizer(up 3.27%), Madras Fertlizers(up 3.20%), & Fertilizers(up 2.33%), KRISHANA(up 1.96%), Sikko Industries(up 1.93%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.91%), Agro Phos(up 1.04%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.02%) and & Fertilizers(up 0.97%) were among the top gainers.

Bohra Industries(down 4.96%), Aries Agro(down 2.13%), Coromandel International(down 0.87%), & Fertilizers(down 0.59%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.55%) and ZUARIAGRO(down 0.18%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 2.5 points up at 18499.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 3.38 points at 62178.29 at around 10:29AM.

Coal India(up 1.38%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.37%), HDFC Bank(up 1.34%), HDFC(up 1.03%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.85%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.72%), IndusInd Bank(up 0.68%), Tata Steel(up 0.68%), Tata Motors(up 0.68%) and UPL Ltd(up 0.67%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Asian Paints(down 2.07%), Titan Company Ltd(down 1.39%), Eicher Motors(down 1.11%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.96%), Infosys(down 0.93%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.89%), Axis Bank(down 0.85%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.77%), Cipla(down 0.75%) and Hindustan Unilever(down 0.75%) were trading in the red.
