Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.19% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:16AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Oberoi Realty(up 1.78 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 1.66 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.3 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.35 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.09 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 1.52 per cent), DLF(down 0.51 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.06 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.19 per cent at 448.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 16.35 points at 18512.95, while the BSE Sensex was up 22.57 points at 62204.24.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.

Shares of , JP Power, , PNB and Central Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of , , , and YES Bank hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , Amiable Logistic(India)Ltd., Baheti Recycling Industries Ltd., and DJ Mediaprint & Logi hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
