Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Rajdarshan Ind(up 20.0%), Steel Strips(up 17.14%) and .(up 15.82%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 2.35 points down at 62179.32, while the 50-share index, NSE was 0.95 points up at 18497.55.
In the Nifty50 index, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , , , and hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , , and touched their new 52-week low during the session.
