J&K plans unique ID for each family, Oppn raises data safety concern

The Jammu and Kashmir administration is mulling to have unique identification for each family in the union territory. The move behind the ID card is to provide benefits of social welfare schemes to all eligible beneficiaries. The opposition parties which raised concerns over personal data safety.
