3 Hyderabad men held for revenge attack on rowdy-realtor

BENGALURU: City police probing the shooting where four bike-borne miscreants targeted Andhra Pradesh-based rowdy-realtor and his car driver on Thursday, arrested three men from Hyderabad.
The accused are Manoj Kumar, Jayaprakash and Praveen Kumar. After producing them before a court in Hyderabad, police will bring them to Bengaluru for questioning. Cops are yet to arrest one more person and seize two country-made pistols used in the shooting at Happy Garden Layout, KR Puram.
Manoj is a used car dealer in Hyderabad while Praveen works with a private bank as recovery agent. Jayaprakash is a BSc degree holder and searching for a job. They opened fire on realtor Shivashankar Reddy and his driver Ashok Reddy in a revenge attack, police said.
Police records show Shivashankar Reddy has nine criminal cases, including murder, registered against him in different parts of Andhra Pradesh and in Whitefield police station. Preliminary probe revealed the attack was a decade-old murder-related revenge bid. tnn
