Teenager killed in road accident in Maharashtra

NASHIK: A teenager was killed in a road accident after the two-wheeler he was travelling in was knocked down by a pickup truck near Wadner Dumala on December 6.
According to Upanagar police station, the teenager did not have a licence for the geared two-wheeler who was riding. The police said the deceased was going to Wadner Dumala at about 1.30 pm on Tuesday when the accident took place.
The teenager was travelling on his bike when a pick-up truck coming from the opposite direction knocked his vehicle down. He suffered serious injuries on his head and in his chest. He was taken to the hospital but he succumbed to the injuries. The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene after the accident. A case has been registered against the driver of the pick-up truck.
