Minor girl gang-raped by 3 in Gaya village
Patna: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men in a container truck, used for ferrying animals, at a village under Amas police station in Gaya district. The girl also received injury in her hands when she resisted the sexual assault by them, police said on Wednesday.
Though the incident occurred on November 30, the family in the FIR lodged on Tuesday, has alleged that they were threatened by the culprits not to disclose about the incident, hence they delayed in lodging the FIR. As per the local media reports, the victim had gone out to buy milk when the three men pulled her inside a parked container truck and outraged her modesty in the evening.
Amas police station SHO Naveen Kumar Vats said the incident occurred around 6pm on November 30. He said the girl’s family had lodged an FIR against three persons and two of their family members, who had threatened them. He further said that all of them had been absconding.
“One of the accused is a driver and two others are labrourers. All the three accused men are between 20 and 25 years of age,” said the SHO, adding the victim is from a poor background.
The SHO further said, “Medical examination of the girl has been done and its report is awaited.”
