Footballer Raheem Sterling will return to Qatar to join the England squad for the FIFA world cup 2022 on saturday. He missed England's last-16 match against Senegal last Sunday after returning to the UK after the heist at his Surrey home. Following the event, the player prioritized his family's safety and spent the week beefing up his security measures.

The FA stated in a statement "Raheem Sterling will return to England's World Cup headquarters in Qatar", "The striker momentarily left the team to attend to a family problem, but is set to rejoin the squad in Al Wakrah on Friday (9 December) ahead of the quarter-final against France.”

England's star footballer departed the competition after learning that his house in Surrey had been broken into and things such as jewelry and watches had been taken. His family was not at home at the time of the break-in, but he wanted to be with them later since he was worried about their well-being. And now he is all set to return to his team squad for the game against France on Sunday.
