Dyson announced its first ever headphones–the Dyson Zone–which is not only an audio device but also keeps harmful dust particles at bay. To sum up, the Dyson Zone headphones also come with air purifiers attached to it. The device is a first in the tech space as no audio brand has attempted a product like this. Dyson has now revealed more details about when the headphones with an air purifier will be available for purchase. The device will go on sale from January in China and March in the US, UK, Hong Kong SAR and Singapore.
Dyson has now revealed that the Dyson Zone will be priced at £749 ($949 in the U.S.), and will go on sale in China from January 2023. The Dyson Zone will be available in the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Hong Kong, and Singapore in March 2023.
The Dyson Zone comes with active noise cancellation as well as air purifier which is specifically designed to tackle the dual challenges of city noise and air pollution. And the best bit here is the air-purifier works in all sorts of situations and protects you on the go. For people living in polluted cities like Delhi, the headphones-cum-air purifier is a must have tool.
"The compressors in each earcup draw air through the dual-layer filters and project two streams of purified air to the wearer's nose and mouth, channeled through the non-contact detachable visor. Electrostatic filters capture 99% of particle pollution as small as 0.1 microns2, whilst K-Carbon, potassium-enriched carbon filters target prevalent acidic gasses most associated with city pollution, including NO2 and SO2," Dyson noted in the blog.
