​​The company, which deploys and maintains meters in panel households to collect raw TV viewership data for BARC, is looking at a capex of ₹60-70 crore to increase the installed meter count.

Meterology Data Private Limited (MDPL), a 51:49 JV between Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India and TAM Media Research, aims to increase the installed meter count to around 65,000 Bar-o-meters over the next 2-3 years from 50,000 currently.

The company, which deploys and maintains meters in panel households to collect raw TV viewership data for BARC, is looking at a capex of ₹60-70 crore to increase the installed meter count.
