Dharani Sugars & Chemicals(up 4.60%), Uttam Sugar Mills(up 1.12%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(up 0.98%), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries(up 0.58%), Simbhaoli Sugars(up 0.56%), DCM Shriram Industries(up 0.55%), Ugar Sugar Works(up 0.28%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(up 0.25%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(up 0.23%) and MAGADHSUGAR(up 0.20%) were among the top gainers.
& Industries(down 4.29%), BAJAJHIND(down 3.46%), Sakthi Sugars(down 1.28%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries(down 1.17%), K.M.Sugar Mills(down 1.03%), AVADHSUGAR(down 0.57%), Mawana Sugars(down 0.45%), KCP Sugar & Industries(down 0.38%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 0.37%) and EID Parry(down 0.33%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 46.7 points up at 18607.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 151.54 points at 62562.22 at around 09:59AM.
Eicher Motors(up 1.74%), Axis Bank(up 1.22%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.18%), Larsen & Toubro(up 0.99%), ICICI Bank(up 0.98%), Adani Enterprises(up 0.93%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.87%), Britannia Industries(up 0.86%), Grasim Industries(up 0.85%) and Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.83%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.04%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.7%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.65%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.59%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.43%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.35%), SBI Life(down 0.32%), Asian Paints(down 0.2%), Tata Motors(down 0.12%) and Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.11%) were trading in the red.
