Future Consumer(up 3.23%), Dangee Dums(up 2.09%), Varun Beverages(up 1.68%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(up 1.51%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(up 1.37%), Zydus Wellness(up 1.29%), Britannia Industries(up 0.93%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(up 0.90%), Marico(up 0.84%) and Nestle India(up 0.78%) were among the top gainers.
Umang Dairies(down 2.54%), Sheetal Cool Products(down 1.29%), DFM Foods(down 1.28%), Heritage Foods(down 0.99%), Vadilal Industries(down 0.78%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 0.57%), Emami(down 0.53%), Nakoda Group(down 0.41%), Jyothy Labs(down 0.35%) and Hindustan Foods(down 0.17%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 39.45 points up at 18599.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 135.05 points at 62545.73 at around 10:24AM.
Eicher Motors(up 1.68%), Axis Bank(up 1.63%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.12%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.09%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.03%), Britannia Industries(up 0.93%), ICICI Bank(up 0.91%), Adani Enterprises(up 0.8%), Nestle India(up 0.78%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.74%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 2.11%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.16%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.07%), SBI Life(down 0.8%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.72%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.67%), Asian Paints(down 0.55%), UPL Ltd(down 0.25%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.23%) and Tata Motors(down 0.21%) were trading in the red.
