6-year-old falls into 400-ft borewell, rescue mission on

BHOPAL: A six-year-old child fell into a 400-ft-deep borewell in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul on Tuesday, triggering a massive rescue operation.
Tanmay is believed to be stuck at a depth of 80 feet and has fallen unconscious, say sources. Rescue teams are digging two parallel tunnels after hitting impenetrable rock at a depth of 25 feet in the first one. Oxygen and warm air are being pumped into the borewell to keep him alive.
