Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 09:59AM

Madras Fertlizers(up 2.09%), KRISHANA(up 2.02%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.49%), & Chemicals(up 0.98%), Agro Phos(up 0.75%), Rama Phosphates(up 0.53%), Bohra Industries(up 0.42%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.37%), & Petrochemicals(up 0.30%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.30%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 1.93%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.61%), Fertilizers (down 0.67%), National Fertilizer(down 0.58%), & Fertilizers(down 0.36%), ZUARIAGRO(down 0.30%), & Fertilizers(down 0.12%), G S F C(down 0.11%) and Coromandel International(down 0.04%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 0.55 points down at 18642.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 25.58 points at 62651.94 at around 09:59AM.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 2.33%), Asian Paints(up 1.21%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.15%), ICICI Bank(up 1.05%), Hindustan Unilever(up 0.77%), Cipla(up 0.42%), State Bank of India(up 0.4%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.4%), ITC(up 0.39%) and UltraTech Cement(up 0.32%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tata Motors(down 1.02%), HCL Technologies(down 1.0%), NTPC(down 1.0%), Wipro(down 0.84%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.79%), Hindalco Industries(down 0.77%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.73%), Tech Mahindra(down 0.67%), JSW Steel(down 0.61%) and Tata Consultancy(down 0.6%) were trading in the red.
