AHMEDABAD: Chief minister Bhupendra Patel said on Monday that the ruling
Bharatiya Janata Party will win the
Gujarat assembly election “by breaking all records.” He was speaking to reporters after voting in the Shilaj area of the city.
“People have voted in huge numbers in both phases of the election. The
BJP will break all previous records while winning the Gujarat assembly election,” the CM said, while talking to reporters after casting his vote. Bhupendra Patel, a first-time MLA from the Ghatlodia seat in Ahmedabad, took over as chief minister in September 2021. He has been fielded on the same seat by the BJP in the 2022 election too. tnn
