Motorola could soon announce Moto G13 in India

The Moto G13 has already received several certifications and it has now been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. This suggests that Motorola might be preparing to launch this budget phone in the Indian market. So far, the Moto G13 has received Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification database as well as NBTC certification website.

The listings haven't revealed everything about the upcoming Moto G13 smartphone, but we do have some details about it. The FCC listing shows this handset will feature the typical 5,000mAh battery and it will have support for 20W fast charging. The leaked renders have also revealed that we will see a punch-hole display design on this phone, just like most of the devices in the market. At the back, we might see a dual camera setup on the Moto G13, according the leaks.

The budget is said to come with an AMOLED panel, which doesn't seem to be surprising considering the company offered it with lower-priced Moto G42 smartphone too. This one could have a 90Hz display. Under the hood, there could be a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, or it could draw power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset. Neither of them is a 5G chip, which means that the Moto G13 might be a 5G device. It is expected to ship with the latest Android 13 OS out of the box.

If these are the specifications, then the upcoming Motorola phone could be priced under Rs 15,000 in India. The base variant will likely be 64GB storage, which has become a standard in the industry. As of now, there is no word on the launch of the Moto G13, so users are advised to take the details with a pinch of salt.

The Moto G13 is not expected to make its debut this year as the company is rumoured to announce it sometime in Q1 2023. Some reports suggest that this budget phone could be unveiled in January next year.
