MUMBAI: The state anti-corruption bureau (ACB) last week issued notices for disproportionate assets (DA) to
Shiv Sena (UBT) faction MLAs Rajan Salvi from Rajapur and Vaibhav Naik from Kudal in the Konkan region. The two are among the 16 MLAs who are still with Shiv Sena (UBT). Salvi and Naik are MLAs from Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts, which are Sena (UBT) strongholds in the Konkan region.
Reacting to the notice, Salvi claimed he has also been receiving threats, followed by the ACB notice for being loyal to Matoshree and the Thackerays.
“The notice has been issued to me only because I am loyal to Matoshree. CM Eknath Shinde and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis are involved in issuing the notice to me. I challenge them to arrest me and put me behind bars,” Salvi said.
