Noida: With an investment target of Rs 60,000 crore at hand for next year’s UP Global Investment Summit, the Yamuna Expressway Authority plans to launch several plot schemes simultaneously by the end of this week.
Given the scope of the film training institute in the view of the upcoming Film City, the Authority has decided to allot 5.5 acres of land to a company for this purpose under the institutional category in Sector 22E.The Authority also plans to allot land for schools, religious institutions, nursing homes and hospitals this week.
The Authority will also come up with data centre park, medical device park and group housing plot schemes by Friday, according to officials.
YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh said, “One plot of over five acres of land has been reserved for the film training institute. With Film City in the vicinity, there is a need to have such a facility that can teach students video editing, documentary filmmaking and dubbing among other technical aspects. The plot will be allotted through e-auction.”
According to Singh, two plots of 2,000 sqm for nursing homes, one plot of 12,000 sqm for a hospital and two plots of 1,000 sqm and 5,000 sqm for religious institutions have also been demarcated in sectors 18 and 20.
In the second phase of the medical device park scheme, the Authority will invite applications for 99 plots on 140 acres of land. In addition to this, 200 acres of land have been kept aside for giving direct allotment to renowned pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies, which demand over 2.5 acres of land.
As far as the data centre park is concerned, three plots of five acres and two plots of 10 acres would be allotted in Sector 28. In this scheme, only those companies, which have a net worth of Rs 150 crore or above, can apply.
“Several multinational companies have expressed their interest in setting up their data centres here. Altogether, 100 acres are available for the data centre park and the remaining land would be made available in the next phase,” the CEO said.
The authority also plans to launch a commercial plot scheme (15 shops and 15 plots) and a group housing scheme on four plots of 50,000 sqm each by the end of this week.
Meanwhile, the Greater Noida Authority on Monday launched an industrial scheme of 45 plots in the Ecotech sectors. The Greater Noida Authority is expected to get around Rs 500 crore from the reserve price of these plots.
“These plots range from 450 sqm to 20,315 sqm in area. A total of 48 acres of land will be allotted through this scheme. The last date for registration is December 26. The registration fee, the earnest money deposit and the processing fee can be deposited till December 28.
“The last date for submitting the documents is till 5 pm on December 30. While the allotment will be done through e-auction, the possession of these plots will be given within a month,” said a senior official.
The Greater Noida Authority has also been given an investment target of Rs 60,000 crore by the state government.
