Debt-ridden farmer ends life

Mysuru: A farmer has committed suicide in Harohalli village under Jayapura limits on Friday afternoon. “A complaint in this regard was lodged on Friday evening,” said police. According to police, Shivaraju S, 53, is the deceased. According to his family members, Shivaraju had availed unsecured loans for farming works. He also had borrowed money for a family event. tnn
