PUNE: A 39-year-old man died after jumping off the window of his sixth-floor flat in Nana Peth around 6.30pm on Friday.
The Samarth police registered an accidental death case in this regard on Saturday. "The deceased had suffered a paralytic attack couple of years ago, due to which he was rendered mute," inspector Pramod Waghmare of the Samarth police told TOI.
"His family members informed us that there was a property dispute going on between him and all his siblings. During the dispute, the man felt helpless and disturbed due to his inability to speak and jumped off the window of his flat," the officer said. tnn
