IANSHINDIAssam Rifles recovered a huge Cache of War like stores in Mizoram.
The operation was carried out near Block Tuipang of Saiha district in Mizoram based on specific information.
Operation was launched by Assam Rifles personnel and Police representatives of Tuipang on Saturday.
A defence spokesperson said, “The team had specific information of possible smuggling of Weapon and War like stores moving in bikes, which tried to evade the Mobile Vehicle Check Post in general area Tuipang. Spot checking was carried out and during Checking War like stores were recovered and four individuals were detained and various other tactical stores like, tactical vests, tactical gloves, combat uniform and boots. Four Myanmar nationals were also apprehended.
He added that the apprehended individuals and recoveries made handed over to police station, Tuipang.
