Drug peddler arrested

Ludhiana: Khanna police arrested a drug peddler after recovering poppy husk from him. A police party at Canal Bridge, Gari Tarkhana, Machhiwara stopped a car driven by Jasdev Singh of Haibowal village on suspicion and seized 100 kg poppy husk. The accused was arrested. Police said during interrogation of the accused Jasdev Singh, another 160 kg poppy seeds was recovered. tnn
