Lobo: Graft in traffic equipment

Mangaluru: Former MLA JR Lobo alleged misappropriation in the installation of CCTV cameras and traffic signal systems in the city.
The CCTV cameras and traffic signal systems installed by the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) and the Mangaluru Smart City Limited (MSCL), by spending crores of rupees, are not functioning properly, he alleged.
Lobo told reporters on Friday, that though CCTV cameras and traffic signal lamps were installed at all junctions in the city, the traffic mess continues.
