Ranchi: A Railway Protection Force (RPF) team on Thursday rescued two minor boys aged 14 years and 15 years, both residents of Hazaribag district from the Ranchi railway station.
According to the RPF, the boys had fled from their homes in Hazaribag last Monday.
The RPF team spotted them wandering at the railway station without bags or baggage. When the team asked the boys about their loitering at the station, they could not provide satisfactory answere and gave the mobile numbers of their parents.
The team immediately contacted the parents, who informed that both the boys have fled home and they had filed a missing persons’ case with the Korrah police station in this connection.
Later, the boys were produced before the child welfare committee, which will then hand over to their respective parents after counselling them.
