Gurugram: As the state gears up for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2022 to be conducted on December 3 and December 4, the government has directed all district officials to step up their measures to ensure free, fair and a chaos-free examination.
A total of 3,05,717 candidates will appear for the examination to be conducted by the Board of School Education in Haryana on December 3 and 4 for which around 1,046 exam centres have been set up. In Gurugram, over 12,500 candidates will appear for the exam.
To ensure that exams are conducted fairly, the state government has directed respective district administrations to impose Section 144 on the day of exams and make adequate police arrangements. “Adequate police arrangements should be made three hours before the commencement of the examination to prevent external interference at the examination centres. Photostat shops near the centres will remain closed during the examination,” said Haryana chief secretary Sanjeev Kaushal.
