Irani targets RaGa’s Bharat Jodo Yatra

Vadodara: While the former Congress president may have hardly campaigned in Gujarat, but Rahul Gandhi has provided enough fuel to Union minister for women and child development, Smriti Irani, to train her guns on the Congress. Irani was in the city to address public meetings in Bhayli for the Dabhoi assembly seat.
Mocking Rahul, Irani said that Congress leader Bharat Solanki could not tolerate Rahul’s speech and discontinued the translation and left the mike.
Irani called Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra ‘pakhand’ (hypocrisy).
“In Tamil Nadu, it (yatra) was with a person who said that one will fall sick if one steps on Indian soil, then Rahul Gandhi kept his hand on the shoulder of a man involved in cow slaughter, in Madhya Pradesh slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ were raised during the yatra,” she alleged.
