Minor dies during road construction, contractor held

Guwahati: A minor boy was electrocuted while working on a six-lane road construction project in Assam’s Basistha Chariali on Wednesday. Kuraban Ali was from Goalpara. Contractor Ramzan Ali, who reportedly brought him to the city to work on the site, was arrested for employing a minor and sent to judicial custody.
