Lawyer thrashed by 3 men over old enmity
Gurgaon: A 32-year-old lawyer of the city district court was allegedly thrashed by three men over old enmity on November 29.
The complainant, identified as advocate Raj Kapoor is a resident of Sector 12a of Prem Nagar. The accused --- Babblu alias Nand Kishor, Manoj, and Subhash --- were convicted of theft in 2019 and are out on bail. The trio wanted to get back after Kapoor fought a case against them.
“This was not the first time they have misbehaved and threatened me. On Tuesday, the accused visited my house and thrashed me. While leaving, they threatened me with dire consequences,” said Kapoor in his complaint.
“Based on the complaint, we have registered a case against the three on Wednesday. We have launched an investigation and formed teams to nab the accused soon,” said inspector Krishan Kant, SHO of Sector-14 police station. TNN
