Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Karda Const(number of shares traded: 1.65 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.28 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.23 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.01 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.74 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.65 crore), BHEL(number of shares traded: 0.61 crore), Vikas Multicorp(number of shares traded: 0.59 crore), Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec(number of shares traded: 0.56 crore) and .(number of shares traded: 0.55 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:15AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 113.4 points down at 18699.1, while BSE Sensex was down 398.22 points at 62885.97 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 1.32 per cent), .(up 1.31 per cent), .(up 1.00 per cent), .(up 0.72 per cent) and & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.70 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 2.64 per cent), Mahindra & .(down 2.09 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.89 per cent), Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent) and .(down 1.70 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
