BJP’s Jan Aakrosh Yatra from today

Jaipur: To counter the Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Rajasthan BJP is gearing up for the launch of the 20-day Jan Aakrosh Yatra by party national president JP Nadda from the Dusshera Maidan here on Wednesday. The party has instructed all core and executive committee members, MLAs and MPs from nearby towns to be present at 12:30 pm.
Nadda will land here at 11 am and will be received by the senior leaders. From the airport, he will leave for the venue. “He will start his address at 12:30 pm followed by the release of raths. Thereafter he will leave for Delhi,” said Pankaj Joshi of the media team. The yatra will be held in two phases: December 1-14 will see the rath travelling in all the 200 constituencies. In the second phase from December 15-20, the public address will take place in all 200 assembly segments. The party has given assembly-wise and district-wise charge of the yatra to non-electoral leaders. TNN
