MYSURU: Five police personnel attached to Yelandur and Agara Mamballi stations in Chamarajanagar district have been suspended after an arrested youth succumbed to injuries he had sustained while trying to escape from police custody.
Ningaraju N, 23, a resident of Kunturu Mole village, was on Tuesday picked up in connection with a missing person’s complaint lodged by a girl’s father. He was charged with kidnapping the minor girl.
