Goods worth Rs 2L stolen from Loutolim house

Margao: Unidentified robbers broke into a house at Orgao, Loutolim, and made off with cash, utensils and electronic items, all worth nearly Rs 2 lakh.
Maina Curtorim police said that the theft occurred somewhere around October 21-22, when the occupants were away and the house locked up.
The incident came to light when the occupants returned home on Wednesday.
The owner, Cynthia Rebello, lodged a complaint about the robbery with the Maina Curtorim police.
The police have booked an offence against unidentified culprits and an investigation is under way.
