Trent shares drop 0.29% as Sensex rises

Shares of the . traded at Rs 1467.5 on BSE at 11:36AM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.29 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 971.0 and a high of Rs 1571.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 143.68 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 10.22 per share and 19.19 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 6,152 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:36AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 52210.44 crore and is part of the Retail - Apparel/Accessories industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 43.41 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 8.41 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1479.95 and Rs 1459.3.

Promoters held 37.01 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2022. FII and MF ownership in Trent Ltd. stood at 26.82 per cent and 8.25 per cent, respectively.
