Gurgaon: The district administration on Tuesday announced a special revision camp at all electoral booths on December 3 and 4 for the addition and change of names in the voter list of Gurgaon. This is a part of the revision of the electoral rolls being conducted till December 8 to include new voters and make amendments to the old voters.
The residents can go to their respective booths and enroll themselves in the voter list and also get their voter card linked with Aadhaar card, said the official of the district administration.
Deputy commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav said that as per the instructions of the election commission of India, the special summary revision work of the voter list of the four assembly constituencies of the Gurgaon district is being done till December 8.
“Any person with the age of 18 and more as on January 1, 2023, can apply for the inclusion of name in the voter list by filling the Form-6. A camp is being organised on December 3 and 4, from 9am to 5pm, so that eligible voters in the district can be included. During this, the addition of names, amending mistakes and other claims will be received by all booth-level officers at polling stations,” Yadav said.
