Bihar registers 28 fresh dengue cases in 24 hours

PATNA: The state on Tuesday registered 28 dengue cases. Nawada topped the chart with 10 fresh cases. One dengue positive patient was admitted to a Gaya hospital on Tuesday. Altogether 34 dengue patients were undergoing treatment at different hospitals in the state.
As per the health department, apart from Nawada which had the highest one-day figure, Patna had logged six fresh cases, followed by West Champaran (3), Bhagalpur (2), Munger (2), Nalanda (2), Vaishali (2) and Gaya (1).
The state's dengue tally has now reached 13,085, including maximum 9,179 cases in Patna, followed by Munger and Nalanda where 504 people have tested positive for dengue so far this year. Since no official death was reported on Tuesday, the state's dengue toll so far this year remained unchanged at 32.
