Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Tuesday at 09:59AM

Agro Phos(up 1.53%), Aries Agro(up 0.88%), & Fertilizers(up 0.74%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.60%), KRISHANA(up 0.58%) and Rama Phosphates(up 0.40%) were among the top gainers.

Bohra Industries(down 4.99%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.49%), G S F C(down 1.37%), & Fertilizers(down 1.09%), & Petrochemicals(down 1.09%), Fertilizers (down 0.77%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.76%), National Fertilizer(down 0.69%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.61%) and Coromandel International(down 0.56%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 60.45 points up at 18623.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 188.55 points at 62693.35 at around 09:59AM.

Hindustan Unilever(up 2.32%), Tata Steel(up 1.95%), Enterprises(up 1.95%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.91%), Cipla(up 1.81%), JSW Steel(up 1.37%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.27%), ICICI Bank(up 1.14%), Hero MotoCorp(up 1.1%) and Titan Company Ltd(up 1.03%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Larsen & Toubro(down 0.75%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.59%), Tata Motors(down 0.51%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.48%), Bajaj Finserv(down 0.46%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.45%), Infosys(down 0.4%), NTPC(down 0.32%), Eicher Motors(down 0.24%) and Asian Paints(down 0.22%) were trading in the red.
