MGK student breaks record in weightlifting

Ludhiana: A two-day Panjab University (PU) inter-college weightlifting tournament was organised at Mata Ganga Khalsa College, Manji Sahib Kottan. Nearly 105 participants from PU colleges participated in the tournament. Gurkaran Singh of the host college broke the inter varsity record by lifting 170kg and qualified for All India University. tnn
