Blood donation camp to mark 75 years of NCC on Nov 27

Prayagraj: To mark 75 years of National Cadet Corps (NCC), a blood donation drive would be held on the theme “Rakt Daan Jeevan Daan” on November 27 from 9am to 12noon.
Various awareness campaigns and rallies are being organised by NCC at Prayagraj. 6 UP Girls Battalion of NCC would be organising the blood donation camp at the 6 UP Girls Battalion location. The NCC cadets and the staff will voluntarily donate blood and cadets will register themselves for the active blood donation on call basis. They will register themselves along with their email ids and phone numbers.
Around 700 NCC cadets (boys and girls) are expected to participate in the event. A cycle rally will also be organised to make the public aware of blood donation. The cadets will sensitise the environment and present nukkad-natak and public talks. The torch bearers of this events would be Group Commander, NCC group, Prayagraj, Brig K P Krishna Kumar, said administrative officer, 6 UP Girls Bn NCC Major Farah Deeba.
