DFSCs sent to judicial custody

Ludhiana: Arrested in the alleged foodgrain scam, district food supplies controllers (DFSCs) Harveen Kaur and Sukhwinder Singh Gill were sent to judicial custody after they were produced before a court on Friday. The duo were on a 2-days VB remand.
According to information, the VB did not seek extension of their remand.
Earlier, the VB had alleged that both the DFSCs had accepted bribes from the contractor Telu Ram, who had already been arrested by VB for allegedly favouring him in tender allotment.
