Gurgaon: A DLF-2 resident has claimed that he and his four friends were thrashed by bouncers at a pub in Sector 29. Police have lodged a case and initiated a probe.
In his complaint, Mohan Mishra alleged that they went to Studio Xo to celebrate his birthday around midnight on November 19. “Our entry was done by the manager of the club, and he allotted us a table near the dance floor. Minutes later, we started dancing. That was when four bouncers came to us and asked us to stop,” Mishra told the cops.
Mishra claimed that when he immediately called Sahil to complain about the bouncers, the manager also threatened them with consequences if they did not stop dancing. “The bouncers started beating me and snatched my gold chain. I have sustained injuries to his eyes and face due to the thrashing,” he said.
An FIR was registered against the bouncers on Wednesday at Sector 29 police station under sections 148 (rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC.
