Arrest of thieves helps cops close multiple cases

Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths have arrested four youths on charges of robbery, theft, and burglary and recovered gold and silver articles worth Rs 20.4 lakh from them. Two persons were picked up on suspicion on November 16. During interrogation, the accused revealed the crimes committed by them in Mysuru city and Dakshina Kannada districts, including chain snatching and thefts. About 312 grams of jewellery worth Rs 16.5 lakh and 868 grams of silver articles have been confiscated from them. this, cops have solved five cases of chain snatching and four burglaries. tnn
