Shraddha Walkar Murder Case Live Updates: Aaftab Poonawala's polygraph test to continue today

Delhi Police has recovered five knives allegedly used by Aaftab Poonawala to chop the body of his live-in partner, Shraddha Walker, into pieces for easier disposal. On Thursday, police also conducted the polygraph test on the alleged murderer at a forensic lab in Rohini. His narco-analysis test is likely to be conducted on Monday.

Assam chief minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday claimed that the Mehrauli killing has an "element of love jihad" and said besides roads and electricity, security of daughters is a poll issue. Responding to a question on him raising the Shraddha Walkar murder case during the poll campaign and calling for a stringent law to prevent "love jihad", Sarma said the case relates to the security of women and also has an "element of love jihad". A team of Delhi police which is probing the Shraddha Walkar murder case on Thursday conducted a search in Bhayander creek near Mumbai for a mobile phone, an official said. The search was conducted with the help of personnel of the Mira-Bhayandar-Vasai-Virar Police, he said. (PTI)

The polygraph test of Aaftab Amin Poonawala, who allegedly murdered his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar, will continue today after he complained of fever on Thursday.
