Aurangabad: Three siblings come under heavy vehicle

AURANGABAD: A 20-year-old youth and two of his sisters were run over and killed by a speeding truck on Thursday morning at NRB Chowk in the city’s MIDC Waluj area.
The accident occurred when the youth was droppi ng his sisters off a t a factory where they were employed as daily workers. He was riding a bike and the women were riding pillion.
The deceased have been identified as Deepak Lokhande, 22year-old Anita and Nikita (18), a ll residents of Asaram Bapu Nagar in Ranjangaon Shenpunji of Gangapur tehsil. The siblings are survived by elderly parents and three sisters.
Local residents said the three siblings had to work as labourers and daily wagers at the MIDC Waluj industrial area. People at the spot nabbed the truck driver and handed him over to the police.
