Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 1.54 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.74 crore), Excel Realty N Infr(number of shares traded: 0.74 crore), Ltd.(number of shares traded: 0.66 crore), Ontic Finserve(number of shares traded: 0.57 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 0.47 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.47 crore), Greencrest Financia(number of shares traded: 0.46 crore), Policy Bazaar(number of shares traded: 0.46 crore) and NCL Research(number of shares traded: 0.41 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:00AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 97.9 points up at 18365.15, while BSE Sensex was up 323.48 points at 61834.06 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 3.93 per cent), .(up 3.21 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.93 per cent), Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent) and .(up 1.54 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 0.39 per cent), .(down 0.34 per cent), .(down 0.30 per cent), .(down 0.24 per cent) and .(down 0.24 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
